  • Maximum one BRONZE ANVIL per writer every 3 months

3.6 Scripts may be revised and resubmitted, but each submission requires a new $1 entry.

3.7 Progressive Scoring Rule (Resubmissions of the Same Script)

  • A single script may only win an Anvil prize once per score tier per calendar year.
  • Writers may resubmit the same script after revisions.
  • A script may win again only if it achieves a higher qualifying score tier than it has previously received that year. Scores must increase into a new Anvil tier to unlock a new prize.

How this works:

  • If a script wins a Bronze Anvil (7.0–7.9), resubmitting and scoring within the same range will not award another prize. If the script later scores 8.0 or higher, it becomes eligible for the next Anvil tier.
  • If a script wins a Silver Anvil (8.0–8.9), resubmitting and scoring within the Silver range will not award another prize. If the script later scores 9.0 or higher, it becomes eligible for the Golden Anvil (subject to Golden Anvil limits).

Intent:

  • Encourage meaningful rewrites and development
  • Reward genuine improvement in craft
  • Prevent repeat submissions from farming the same prize

Script Forge reserves the right to determine whether score increases reflect meaningful development rather than cosmetic changes.

4. Prohibited Conduct

To maintain fairness, the following actions are strictly forbidden:

  • Submitting scripts on behalf of another writer without full authorship rights.
  • Padding or manipulating pages, structure, or formatting to influence scoring.
  • Submitting bundled or multi-script PDFs.
  • Uploading scripts with intentionally disruptive layouts or hidden content.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer or manipulate the scoring model.
  • Using automation tools to submit mass entries.
  • Creating multiple accounts to submit the same script repeatedly.A script cannot win the same award tier more than once every three months, regardless of which account submits it. Submitting the same script under different accounts is considered platform abuse and will result in immediate disqualification and permanent account ban for all associated accounts.

Violations may result in:

  • Disqualification
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent ban from the competition
